A leisure park in north Wales has been sold for £8.5 million in what experts described as a “major transaction”.
Real estate specialists Savills acted on behalf of the private seller of Whitehouse Leisure Park Ltd, on the outskirts of Towyn, to the Seldon family, operators of the adjoining park, Seldon’s Golden Gate.
Whitehouse Leisure Park covers 18.5 acres and includes 315 developed pitches, reception and facilities including an amusement arcade, snooker room, laundrette and shop. The park also features a popular club and restaurant.
Robert Gale-Hasleham, director of leisure and trading services at Savills, said: “Whitehouse Leisure Park offered a superb opportunity to purchase a well-established caravan park, which is situated on the North Coast of Wales, a well-known holiday park destination.
“This was a major transaction and demonstrates the rising confidence in the holiday park market.”
