The 2018-19 final reconciliation statements will soon be available to view on the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) website, it has been confirmed.
The statements set out a clear overview of what funding schools and academies are required to repay and what they are owed.
According to the ESFA, the documents will be processed in December, while any under-delivery will be recovered against payments from the December 2019 funding payment.
This will apply if you received funds through a grant for your adult education budget (AEB), a grant with an Advanced Learner Loans Bursary contract, or a Learner Support (for procured AEB) contract.
In some instances grant funding may need to be repaid. This could be because the regulator has identified an error through the funding rules monitoring (FRM) reports.
If you feel that you have been unfairly charged, schools and academies have the right to appeal their reconciliation value up to 31 December 2019, after which time appeals will no longer be considered.
