Award-winning accountancy firm Milsted Langdon has held a private screening of blockbuster film The Accountant for clients, professional colleagues and business leaders in Bristol.
The showing of the film, starring Ben Affleck, was organised by Milsted Langdon’s local office in the city and held at Showcase Cinema in Cabot Circus for local businesses to attend.
The event gave the firm a chance to share a light hearted perspective of the profession in a relaxed environment and enjoy the new hit movie, which focuses on the life of a talented accountant who works for criminal organisations.
Speaking after the event, Milsted Langdon’s Partner Roger Isaacs said: “This film does away with the myth of the boring accountant and I hope that our guests enjoyed the movie as much as we did.
“We like to think the proactive, award-winning services we provide are exciting to our clients, although maybe not as action packed as this film. I hope those who attended came away with a slightly different view of our profession even if an ordinary day in the offices of Milsted Langdon office tends to be more about high calibre tax advice than high calibre rifle rounds.”
Milsted Langdon has held a number of private film events this month across the South West in Taunton and Yeovil to promote the new film and its services to a broad range of clients.
