On 20 January, Milsted Langdon co-hosted a seminar in conjunction with Amicus Commercial, Barclays and Funding Circle.
Held at Junction 24 in North Petherton, Somerset, the event was aimed at growing businesses. Rob Cadwallader, Senior Manager at Milsted Langdon, provided tips on using management information to drive the business forward as well as discussing tax reliefs such as EIS and SEIS and the availability of grant funding. He was joined by Kevin Butler, Consultant Economist to the firm, who presented an update on the economic outlook for the UK and Somerset in particular.
Meanwhile, Richard Haste and Ian Pearson of Amicus Commercial, Barclays’ Business Banking Area Manager for Somerset and West Wiltshire, Nick Porter, and Craig Jackson of Funding Circle covered key topics such as funding and preparing for growth, setting realistic targets, and what peer-to-peer lending can offer to a business.
Kevin Butler said: “The seminar was a great success and it was wonderful to see so many people attend. We regularly host free seminars such as this one and welcome enquiries from owners of businesses of all sizes and sectors.”
If you were not able to attend the seminar but would like to find out more about business growth, Milsted Langdon’s experts will be happy to discuss this with you. They work closely with businesses every day to help them achieve their goals and have a wealth of experience to draw upon.
