Inaugural Bristol Life Business Club a success thanks to support from Milsted Langdon

More than 65 members of Bristol’s business community have taken part in the first ever Bristol Life Business Club.

The Club, which is not your usual corporate gathering, has been launched by leading publication Bristol Life and will bring together some of Bristol’s top business minds in the wonderful setting of The Sugar House at Hotel du Vin.

Milsted Langdon was delighted to have been approached by Bristol Life with the offer of becoming the club’s inaugural sponsor. The firm co-hosted the group’s first meeting, which saw the host of the annual Glastonbury Festival, Michael Eavis CBE, talk about his experience of running the event and how he has kept the event fresh, while attracting an ever-larger audience.

The firm also sent along several representatives from its nearby office to the first event to enjoy the talk and meet with the local business leaders who attended.

Roger Isaacs, Partner at Milsted Langdon’s One Redcliff Street Bristol office, said: “Our firm is delighted to have been selected by Bristol Life to sponsor the prestigious business club and we were honoured to be invited along to their first successful meeting, which featured a really interesting talk from Michael Eavis.

“Having previously worked with Bath Life Business Club, which has established itself as a well-respected venue for local thought-leadership, we are looking forward to the future events in Bristol.”

The top 100 accountancy firm supports a number of organisations within the South West and is committed to helping the region’s businesses, which is why it was recently named Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm at the Tolley’s Taxation Awards 2016.
