Investment will help manufacturing firm to grow its operation

A manufacturing business based in the South West is set to expand after securing support from NatWest bank.

Berkeley Stainless Fittings, which has premises in Bristol, delivers fittings and fabrications to contractors of various sizes.

The company has confirmed it will use the funding injection to build on work for overseas clients and expand its export operation. Aside from its Bristol base, the company also has outlets in cities including Manchester and Birmingham.

Rob Rawsthorne, the firm’s managing director, said: “Through consistently providing high quality products, Berkeley Stainless Fittings has continued to grow over the years.

“This has allowed us to expand our manufacturing capability, level of stock held, and the number and size of our branches.

“With the help of NatWest, we are targeting taking our products across the globe, helping us grow our business from a national to international stainless steel stockholder.”

Paul Grantham, a senior relationship manager at NatWest, said: “Working with an industry-leading business such as Berkeley Stainless Fittings has been a privilege.

“NatWest are proud supporters of the UK manufacturing sector and are delighted to  help the business expand upon its already strong growth, and to continue to play an important role in the sector for many years to come.”
