We have teamed up with the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and Microsoft to deliver a webinar on Power BI software, which looks set to revolutionise the world of modern accounting.

The hour long event, held on 24 May, gave accountants from across the UK and around the world the opportunity to learn more about the opportunities available through Microsoft’s Power BI application.

During the webinar James Marshall, Microsoft Small and Medium Business Chief Technology Officer outlined the latest update on how to capture and harness data for clients through Power BI, while our Business Innovation team demonstrated how we are using this to add value to our services.

Microsoft Power BI is a fantastic way of collating data and visualising it to provide a greater insight into a business’s finances.

We have found that it really adds value to the analysis and advice we provide to our clients, so I am delighted that Microsoft and the ACCA invited us to take part in this successful webinar.

We have been sharing our experience with Power BI at a number of events, including at the Accountex show, where there was a lot of interest in the useful applications made possible by the software.
