Milsted Langdon celebrates those who inspire and develop the youth of Somerset

Jonathan-LangdonOne of the South West’s leading accountancy firms, Milsted Langdon, is encouraging businesses, schools and education providers to submit their entries for the Somerset Education Business Awards.

The firm is once again the headline sponsor at this year’s ceremony and hopes that hundreds of local companies and educators will put themselves forward for the awards, which celebrate the hard work of all who inspire young people and develop future skills and talent across the county.

Categories at this year’s awards include ‘Young Aspiration’, sponsored by Hinkley Point C, and ‘Removing Barriers’, sponsored by Willmott Dixon, which will be judged by an independent panel made up of local experts, including Jonathan Langdon, Founding Partner at Milsted Langdon.

The firm, which has offices in Bath, Bristol, London, Taunton and Yeovil, has supported the awards for several years and is looking forward to seeing which schools, colleges, businesses and projects come out on top in 2020.

Jonathan Langdon said: “It is really important that we recognise the success of local educators and the role that they play in developing future talent in Somerset.

“I would strongly encourage organisations and individuals to put people and projects forward that have made a real difference to the lives of those pursuing new skills and careers.”

Award finalists will be invited to celebrate at an awards evening to be held at Somerset County Cricket Club on 30 April 2020.
