Milsted Langdon doubles its insolvency award shortlisting in one go!

Multiple award-winning chartered accountancy firm Milsted Langdon is celebrating yet more shortlisting triumphs in the run of prestigious accolades it has received so far this year.

The firm has been named in the Turnaround, Restructuring and Insolvency (TRI) Awards 2016 as a finalist – not only for Insolvency Team of the Year, but also for Corporate Restructuring Firm of the Year.

Milsted Langdon is one of just seven practices to have reached the Insolvency Team of the Year shortlist, and one of only ten Corporate Restructuring Firm of the Year finalists, following the judging of each initial bid by a panel comprising high profile figures from the world of insolvency, accountancy and tax.

This impressive dual achievement follows Milsted Langdon’s recent Tolley’s Taxation Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm Award 2016 win and the announcement of Forensic Partner Roger Isaacs as Lawyer Monthly’s Accountants’ Expert Witness of the Year 2016.

Insolvency Partners Tim Close, Simon Rowe and Rachel Hotham co-ordinate Milsted Langdon’s services for under-performing businesses and for formal insolvency appointments. Milsted Langdon provides a full range of services and advice to assist organisations and individuals in financial difficulty to meet their financial and legal obligations to creditors, business partners and staff.

TRI will announce the award winners on 19 October at a black tie event at the London Hilton, Park Lane.

Tim Close said: “We are extremely pleased to be among the select few UK firms whose insolvency work is considered deserving of recognition.

“The judges were clearly impressed by the quality of the work and dedication of the Insolvency Team and by the positive outcome it achieves for its clients and stakeholders.

“We have proved we provide the highest quality taxation services in the region – we now have the opportunity to do the same for our insolvency offering in the next award bid stage and we hope to bring two more trophies back to the South West in October.”
