Milsted Langdon manager Susannah is Rising Star

Susannah AdamsMilsted Langdon is celebrating after one of its managers received a Rising Star Award for her professional achievements.

Susannah Adams, a manager in the firm’s corporate finance department, received the award at the MGI UK and Ireland Annual Partners and Managers Conference, which took place at the Legoland Windsor Hotel Resort.

Milsted Langdon is a member of MGI, one of the world’s largest alliances of independent audit, tax, accounting and consulting firms, with more than 5,000 professionals at more than 160 member firms across more than 80 different countries.

Partners from the firm also attended the conference, which had the theme ‘The Morality of Business’ and included guest speakers such as rogue trader Nick Leeson,  whose unauthorised speculative trading famously led to the collapse of Barings Bank. Other speakers included former MI5 agent Annie Machon, Olympus whistleblower Michael Woodford, ‘The Great Tax Robbery’ author Richard Brooks and ICAEW ethics and integrity manager Liz Higgs.

Roger Isaacs, a partner at the firm, said: “Susannah is most definitely one of our rising stars at Milsted Langdon, so we are absolutely delighted that she has been recognised in this way.

“The conference itself was extremely interesting with an excellent array of speakers to complement the ethics-based theme and gave everyone who attended plenty to think about.”
