Milsted Langdon partner earns professional agricultural qualification (as well as fees…)

Milsted Langdon has another qualification to add to its already extensive knowledge treasury: General Practice Partner Nigel Moysey has been awarded certification as Professional Agriculturalist (P.Agric) by the Institute of Agricultural Management (IAgrM).

Nigel Moysey has been with Milsted Langdon for  20 years.  He leads Milsted Langdon’s Yeovil-based Agricultural and Rural Affairs team and provides detailed advice and support to farming and agricultural business start ups and longstanding clients working in the sector. He also offers general accountancy services and specialises in personal tax planning, SME and family concerns.

Nigel Moysey received his reward for meeting IAgrM academic and practical requirements on 7 March 2016 when his P. Agric certificate was issued.

“I am very proud to have attained this qualification. It is a personal achievement and it will also add an extra dimension to the services I can offer Milsted Langdon’s clients.  We are always keen to demonstrate a full understanding of their requirements and it will be pleasing to be able to know I can deal with our many agricultural clients’ needs with full and qualified knowledge of their business practices.  Milsted Langdon always wants to offer added value – this is my latest contribution to it.”

The Institute of Agricultural Management was founded in 1992 to promote and encourage high standards in farming and agriculture management.  Its 700 current members are drawn from the industry and allied professions, including accountancy practices such as Milsted Langdon.

The IAgrM introduced the independently-accredited P.Agric in 2014 as a new national benchmark to recognise the professional skills of agricultural managers and pave the way for chartered status, and it is already recognised as a mark of distinction and a quality guarantee throughout the industry.
