Yeovil-based chartered accountancy firm Milsted Langdon is proud to be sponsoring the Small Business Award again at the 2016 Yeovil Business Awards. Milsted Langdon also sponsored the 2015 prize winner Cosy Calf.
Milsted Langdon’s General Practice Partner Jon Stocker will present the 2016 award to this year’s hotly-contested category victor on 21 July. He reiterated last year’s support for SMEs and the Award: “Milsted Langdon specialises in assisting businesses ranging in size from high value listed companies to sole traders, medium sized businesses and start-ups, so we’re delighted to take such an active part in the Yeovil Business Awards and to champion local small businesses.
Our SME client base has grown during the last 12 months and we are always keen to offer Milsted Langdon’s SME-focused services to new entrepreneurs, whom we are also pleased to be rewarding for their acumen, determination and achievement at the Yeovil Business Awards.
“SMEs have underpinned the local and national economy’s success for a long time and forthcoming advantageous changes to business rates mean they are likely to continue to lead the way in regeneration of Britain’s high streets and employment statistics. The country is still experiencing encouraging growth levels and we are pleased to be able to help our SME clients contribute to it.
“As well as budding and flourishing SMEs, we also act for a very wide spectrum of professionals, corporate clients and private businesses from all sectors and our expert staff are always at hand to provide the full range of support and advice each needs to operate, manage and expand successfully.
“Milsted Langdon’s membership of the worldwide MGI alliance of independent auditing, accounting and consulting firms means that we can also provide international advice to our clients and give them access to the expertise and local knowledge of MGI members in more than 80 countries.
“This will give the more adventurous SMEs the chance to investigate expansion potential overseas – and we will be able to support them directly and through the MGI network if they are successful in adding an international dimension to their operations.
“We will celebrate the achievements of smaller businesses at the Yeovil Business Awards, but Milsted Langdon will always welcome clients of all sizes and in every state of financial health because it is our intention to make their business our business.”
