Earlier this month, Ian Lloyd, the partner responsible for Milsted Langdon’s Bath Office attended a private meeting of local business leaders and Geoff Harding, Deputy Agent for the Southwest at the Bank of England.

Organised by Inspire Wessex Chambers and held at Knorr Bremse Rail Systems in Melksham, the purpose of the meeting was to provide feedback to the Bank of England on how their businesses were faring in the current economic climate. Information gleaned from meetings like this one help the Bank to plan interest and inflation rates.

As well as Ian Lloyd, business leaders attending were from Atkins Global, Bristol Airport, Cooper Tires, Doree Bonner International, Inspire Wessex, Kavanagh, Knorr Bremse, MJChurch, Rotaval, Siemens, Superior, Whitehall Garden Centre and WHKemp.

General Practice Partner at Milsted Langdon, Ian Lloyd, said: “This was a very fruitful meeting and gave me a tremendous insight into the struggles faced by local companies.
