Milsted Langdon’s client, Deltaform, is a Bridgwater-based privately owned thermoformed plastic packaging manufacturer that produces fold-over packs, insert trays and blister packs for a large number of companies in many different industries across the UK and Europe.
Sold last year to an American consolidator, Deltaform has two other manufacturing companies in its group; one in Milton Keynes and one in Ireland.
Milsted Langdon won the group audit, but required some help on Ireland’s statutory disclosure and tax laws.
Nigel Fry, General Practice Partner at Milsted Langdon commented: “By coincidence, the business is in the same town as chartered accountancy firm Copsey Murray, so we introduced them to each other and have asked Copsey Murray to attend the stock count, and review the statutory disclosure and tax issues.
“This is a great example of how our membership of international accounting alliance MGI means that we can call on the expertise and specialist skills of similar professional firms worldwide.
“Our clients can benefit from working with a local firm that takes the time to understand their needs and helps them maximise their potential, but also take advantage of the services of a global accountancy network when they need advice on worldwide business practices, international tax solutions and strategic business opportunities.”
