Milsted Langdon travels to Germany for MGI European Talent Meeting

Accountants from Milsted Langdon have recently returned from a conference in Frankfurt where they shared their knowledge with peers from around the world.

The firm’s Forensic Partner Roger Isaacs, was part of a team who took part in the first ever MGI Talent meeting in the German city, which sought to help the next generation of accountants from MGI Worldwide – an international network made up of more than 5,000 accountancy and business experts from 250 locations around the world.

During the event Roger, who is also Deputy Chairman of the MGI network, addressed his fellow members and spoke about how to succeed in an international network, while the work Milsted Langdon are doing with Microsoft Power BI – a powerful Business Innovation tool – was also discussed.

The Talent Meeting offered young, rising talents within member firms and specialists the chance to share their knowledge and build new international relationships.

Speaking after the event, Roger said: “Our inaugural MGI European Talent Meeting has proven to be a fantastic success and gave many of our members the opportunity to meet the young stars who will hopefully take our profession into the future.

“The feedback we had from those who attended was excellent and 100 per cent of delegates described it as a useful meeting, with more than 65 per cent saying it was very helpful.”

He added that he hoped events like this would cement MGI’s position as one of the world’s top networks in the future and alongside it expose more businesses around the world to Milsted Langdon’s wide range of excellent services.
