One of the South West’s leading independent accountancy firms, Milsted Langdon, hosted a drinks reception for their professional contacts at Bristol Zoo to mark the firm’s 30th year.
Founded in 1988 by two graduates from the University of Bath, the firm has grown to become one of the South West’s most successful practices over the last three decades – winning a number of awards and welcoming an ever-expanding national and international client base in the process.
Many local business contacts joined representatives from the firm, including several partners, for a special celebration at one of the city’s most famous attractions, Bristol Zoo.
Nestled amongst all of the enclosures and wild animals, the firm held a fantastic canape reception where they discussed the firm’s history in the region and celebrated its current success.
The event was part of the firm’s ongoing year of celebrations for its 30th anniversary, which also includes a fundraising campaign which hopes to raise £30,000 for good causes by the end of the year.
Roger Isaacs, a Partner at Milsted Langdon’s Bristol office, said: “Our night at Bristol Zoo was a fantastic way to celebrate our current place in the South West and our successful history in the region.
“We were delighted that so many of our Bristol-based contacts could join us for this night of celebration which served as an excellent opportunity to welcome formally our new colleagues and contacts following our recent merger with local firm, Houghton Stone and to share with them firm’s future ambition at a time when the accountancy profession is evolving at an unprecedented rate.
“By focussing on the relationships with our clients and friends in the professional community, we continue to see growth across all of five of our offices and we have recently welcomed a number of new staff members as we expand our service offering to a number of new clients,” added Roger.
“The future certainly looks bright for our firm and we were glad that we could share this good news with so many people.”
