Milsted Langdon, one of the South West’s leading independent accountancy firms, has played an instrumental role in the latest MGI UK & Ireland Conference.
Several accountants from Milsted Langdon’s team joined their fellow MGI Worldwide members, who had travelled from across the UK to participate in the two day conference in Surrey.
Based around the theme of “Risk, Return and Decision Making”, members of MGI Worldwide – an international network of accountants with more than 5,000 experts in 250 locations around the world – explored a variety of topics and heard from a full programme of specially selected, expert speakers.
Milsted Langdon Partner and MGI Worldwide Deputy Chairman, Roger Isaacs, was one of the speakers and he talked at length about the group’s recent MGI Worldwide conference and the network’s continuing success.
Milsted Langdon LLP’s co-founder, Simon Milsted, also addressed delegates and spoke about his time in the accountancy profession and what it had taught him.
Other speakers included Tracey Davidson, who spoke on behalf of Swedish Banking Group Handelsbanken and accredited business coach Parag Prassad.
Speaking after the event, Roger Isaacs said: “The event was a great success and we managed to explore a number of important issues in-depth with peers from fellow member firms.
“As a firm we are proud of our long association with MGI Worldwide and as Deputy Chairman I was delighted to talk about the fantastic things our group has achieved in 2016, while sharing success stories from the individual firms that make up this wonderful professional network.”
