Network of Independent Forensic Accountants appoint Milsted Langdon specialist as its new Chair

Our Forensic Director Helen Gregory has been announced as the new Chair of the Network of Independent Forensic Accountants (NIFA).

This national network of forensic accounting practitioners provides solicitors, barristers, insurance companies and their clients with expert evidence and expert advice, with its members playing critical roles in complex court cases.

Helen is a long-serving member of NIFA and has been selected based on her considerable experience supporting clients and the courts, as well as her drive to improve access to forensic accounting advice.

Speaking about her appointment, Helen said: “It is a great honour to be taking over as Chair of NIFA. This body of experts plays an integral role in complex financial investigations, business valuations, matrimonial disputes and many other contentious matters, working with solicitors, barristers, the insurance industry and the courts to support their work and deliver effective outcomes based on evidence.”

As Chair of NIFA, she will help to guide the network’s development and will support members as they use their combined forensic accounting knowledge and expertise to provide an efficient and reliable quality service.

Tim Close, Chair of Milsted Langdon, said: “Helen is incredibly passionate about forensic accounting, and I can’t think of anyone else who would be more suited to this prestigious role. I am sure I join the rest of our Partners and the team at Milsted Langdon in congratulating her on this appointment.”

We have a long and proud history within NIFA, having supported its growth and provided regular technical expertise to its fellow member. As well as Helen sitting as Chair of this prestigious organisation, our Forensic Partner, Roger Isaacs, is National Technical Director.
