New Insolvency Manager at Milsted Langdon

Milsted Langdon has welcomed Ruth Gilbert who joined the Bristol office earlier this month.

Ruth has specialised in insolvency work since 2000, when she joined a boutique insolvency practice, and is experienced in managing both corporate and personal insolvency cases of all shapes and sizes.

Having started her career in accountancy, Ruth qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2006 and became a Fellow member (FCCA) in 2011. She is active in the association as a committee member of the ACCA Bristol Members Network, where her work includes acting as an ACCA ambassador.

One of Ruth’s strengths is her large technical knowledge and expertise which is crucial in order to achieve the best outcome in any insolvency process. Milsted Langdon has always placed huge importance on this area and so Ruth represents a perfect fit for the team.

Having had her first exposure to the world of insolvency in 2000 she went on to gain her Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) and passed her qualifying exams issued by the Joint Insolvency Examination Board exams in 2009.

As such Ruth becomes the fifth Licenced Insolvency Practitioner within the Milsted Langdon insolvency team and proves the firm’s continued commitment to helping businesses and individuals in financial trouble.
