Susannah Adams, Corporate Finance Partner at southwest-based Milsted Langdon has successfully completed the sale of Bristol Management Centre to IMD Bristol Limited.

Bristol Management Centre has been established for more than 40 years and specialises in providing senior service personnel with training for post forces corporate managerial roles. In addition, Bristol Management Centre provides project management and other leadership training for corporate entities and private individuals.  For many years the company has provided high quality accredited and approved MoD In-Service and Resettlement Courses.

IMD Bristol Limited was formed in May 2015 and has its base in Taunton. The newly-formed company is seeking to expand the training offered by Bristol Management Centre, to incorporate new media, and to extend the training reach to rank and file forces personnel.

The sale provides an opportunity for former shareholders John Platts and his business partner Karen Cottrell to devote more time to their other business interests. John founded the business over 40 years ago and will work with the acquirers for a period of time to safeguard existing relationships.
