After joining the firm in 1999 as a trainee accountant, Darren undertook his professional training and is now a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Darren was promoted to General Practice Manager in May 2008 and since then he has been providing sound accountancy and financial advice to businesses across the South West.

Darren deals with all aspects of small and medium-sized owner managed businesses, including accounts preparation, business and personal taxes, tax planning, management information and statutory audits. He has also acted as audit manager for both AIM and PLUS listed companies, gaining an in depth knowledge of both UK and International Financial Reporting Standards.

Darren enjoys helping businesses to improve their accounting systems and controls, as well as taking an active advisory role to clients’ who are making financial, accounting and business decisions.

Tax and cost savings lie at the heart of Darren’s approach to assisting clients and he is always on the lookout for ways in which businesses can reduce their bills and maximise profits.
