Gill is a Chartered Accountant and Partner with a broad and diverse portfolio of clients. She joined Milsted Langdon in 2005, after qualifying with mid-tier firm Baker Tilly, where she acted for charities, independent schools and large owner-managed businesses.
Since qualifying in 1989, Gill has developed a wealth of experience, meaning she is able to provide specialist advice to clients and assist businesses with their accounts, audit and assurance procedures.
Gill has particular expertise in the third sector and as such, is head of the firm’s Charities and Not for Profit team. She has built a solid reputation for technical excellence in this area and is well regarded as a leader in her field.
Over the course of her career, Gill’s focus has been on building strong relationships with her clients. Having an in-depth knowledge of them as individuals as well as managers and business owners means she is able to provide advice that offers real economic value. In 2019, Gill’s work and achievements were recognised when she won the Successful Women in Business award for Professional Services. This award recognises her work as a specialist in advising charities, not-for-profit organisations and owner-managed businesses, as well as the support she provides to her colleagues. In particular, this award celebrates women who have demonstrated fantastic customer service and supported their industry by championing the success of other women.
Gill lectures widely on a variety of topics and is a member of both the ICAEW Charity and Voluntary Sector Group, and the ICAEW Entertainment and Media Sector Group.
