With a remarkable career spanning more than 30 years in accountancy, Karen brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and specialist skills to her role.

Karen began her accountancy training at a firm in Dorset and then worked for two esteemed Yeovil firms before her previous role as Director in another respected Somerset accountancy firm.

As her accountancy career developed, she furthered her qualifications by successfully becoming a Chartered Tax Advisor and a full member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) after completing the STEP Diploma for Trusts and Estates.

Karen’s focus lies predominantly on owner-managed businesses, ranging from sole traders and partnerships to companies. She is adept at handling a range of tax issues, including Income and Corporation Tax.

Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax, including Trusts and Estate Tax Computations and HMRC Registration, are also areas of particular interest to Karen, and this leads to regular  contact with solicitors about deceased estates and administration periods.

Karen is passionate about helping clients achieve the most from their earnings and wealth with pragmatic and shrewd advice.
