Simon began his accountancy career in 1988 as a trainee at a regional practice in Exeter. He joined Milsted Langdon in 1995 as an audit senior and has been in a managerial role for almost 20 years.

He has spent the major part of his professional life advising small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and owner-managed businesses, in sectors including construction, food processing, haulage and IT.

His expertise includes improving profitability, advising on strategic matters, implementing accounting procedures and controls, improving management information and tax planning and he also has extensive experience in audit work.

A key priority for Simon is to build long-term relationships with his clients, based on a thorough understanding of their needs and aspirations. Clients value his proactive approach. Simon provides a constructive view of what he believes to be the best way forward for an organisation, and, in particular, the owners of the business themselves, to help them achieve their goals.

Simon is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
