This includes the audit compliance group to ensure that the firm’s audits are adhering to the latest changes and best practice. A key goal of Thomas is to help the firms’ clients navigate the changes in auditing and accounting standards in addition to providing firmwide internal training sessions for staff.
His experience includes audit engagements and accounts preparation, including consolidations under merger and acquisition accounting. Thomas has had significant involvement with a variety of businesses, with turnovers up to and above £50 million, covering sectors like the motor trade and recruitment.
Thomas also specialises in several niche reporting areas for clients such as grant audits and FCA regulated businesses ensuring such engagements are completed promptly and cost effectively to ensure client’s reporting requirements are met.
