Partner at leading South West accountancy firm steps down after long and successful career

Partners and staff at one of the South West’s top accountancy practices Milsted Langdon have congratulated a Partner on his long service as he leaves the partnership and takes on a new consultancy role.

Nigel Moysey, General Practice Partner at the firm’s offices in Yeovil, has decided to retire from his position as a partner to become a consultant for the firm.

Nigel, who joined Milsted Langdon upon the opening of the firm’s offices in the town in 1996, has spent more than four decades in the profession, during which time he has helped hundreds of local businesses and individuals with their tax and accountancy requirements.

He will continue to offer services to clients in his new role, particularly in his key areas of interest, which include personal and business tax planning, assisting start-ups and providing specialist advice to farming and agricultural related businesses.

Speaking about his time in the profession, Nigel said: “I have had a fantastic time working at Milsted Langdon and I love assisting businesses and individuals in Yeovil and beyond.

“Whilst I am stepping down as a Partner, this is by no means the end of my time at Milsted Langdon and I will continue to act as a consultant offering the same advice and services to clients.”

His fellow Yeovil Partner, Jon Stocker added: “We are very sad to see Nigel leaving the partnership, but we are delighted that he has decided to stay on with us as a consultant to ensure a smooth handover over a gradual period of time.
