South West-based chartered accountants Milsted Langdon have been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.
The firm, which has offices in Taunton, Bristol, Yeovil and Bath, have been named as finalists in the British Accountancy Awards 2012 – Mid-Tier Firm of the Year category.
The shortlisting recognises Milsted Langdon’s successful year and their innovative, personal approach to accountancy, business and tax advice.
Milsted Langdon is widely considered one of the strongest independent firms in the region, and has been recognised as offering a level of expertise normally expected of much larger firms.
Jonathan Langdon, Chairman of Milsted Langdon, said: “This is a fantastic honour for the firm and all team members who have contributed to this success.
“In spite of the difficult financial conditions, the team at Milsted Langdon have worked incredibly hard to enhance our position as one of the leading mid-tier chartered accountancy practices in the South West and UK as a whole.
“We pride ourselves on going further than other independent accountancy firms, offering a level of expertise not normally found at mid-sized practices.
“This shortlisting recognises our proactive approach in ensuring we exceed our clients’ expectations.”
The final of the annual event takes place in London on 21 November.
