The 23 for 23 Challenge: A year of impactful activities

To demonstrate our commitment to community engagement and social responsibility we embarked on 23 challenges throughout 2023.

Aligned with our core values and commitment to fostering positive change, our dedicated team embarked on these challenges, each meticulously designed to address key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives while actively supporting local causes and communities across the South West and beyond.

Some of the standout challenges included:

  • Volunteer days at Hestercombe Gardens, showcasing the team’s dedication to preserving and enhancing local landmarks.
  • Active participation in sporting events such as the Bath Half Marathon, demonstrating their commitment to promoting physical health and well-being.
  • Hosting internal social activities, including quiz nights, boat cruises, and wine tastings, fostering a sense of camaraderie and unity within the workplace.
  • Supporting charitable initiatives such as the Christmas Charity Bake Sale, with proceeds benefiting organisations like Save the Children UK and the National Autistic Society.

Reflecting on the success of the 23 for 23 challenge, Milsted Langdon’s Managing Partner, Simon Rowe, expressed pride in the team’s achievements and reaffirmed the firm’s commitment to making a positive impact in the communities they serve.

“By embracing a diverse range of activities and initiatives, we feel that we embraced the transformative power of collective action and shared values.

“Looking ahead, we remain dedicated to driving positive change, empowering individuals, and fostering stronger, more resilient communities across the region.”
