Roger Isaacs, one of the UK’s most prominent forensic accountants and a Partner at Milsted Langdon, a firm with offices in London and across the South West of England, has been named as a finalist at the 2019 British Accountancy Awards.
Judges at this year’s prestigious national awards have selected Roger for the Partner of the Year shortlist based upon his exceptional work promoting the expertise of forensic accountants.
Working with a wide range of professionals and the Courts, Roger has assisted with a number of complex financial cases in the last year, often acting as an expert witness.
His specialist skills are not only recognised locally in the South West, but he has developed a reputation across the UK for providing expert assistance on a wide range of difficult matters.
Roger also sits as the Chair of the Forensic Advisory Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and as National Technical Director for NIFA (Network of Independent Forensic Accountants). He is also the Chair of MGI Worldwide, a top 20 global network of accountancy firms.
In addition to providing advice to clients, Roger has recently worked with BBC Radio 4’s Money Box programme and provided expert comment to publications, such as The Times.
Speaking about his shortlisting at the British Accountancy Awards, Roger said: “To be named as one of the leading accountancy partners in the UK is a huge honour and wonderful recognition for the work that the firm and I do.
“The British Accountancy Awards are held in extremely high regard within the profession, so I hope my shortlisting will help raise the profile of forensic accounting.”
Roger will find out if he has been declared the winner of the award at a ceremony due to be held at Grosvenor House in Park Lane, London on 25th September 2019.
