MPs sitting on the Treasury Committee have recommended that HMRC delay the implementation of Making Tax Digital, saying that the plans “should be pushed back ‘until at least 2019/20, possibly later”. Whether HMRC will push back the date based upon the Committee’s recommendation is yet to be confirmed.
