Staff and partners at award-winning accountancy firm Milsted Langdon are celebrating after sponsoring this year’s successful Yeovil Show.
The firm, which has offices across the South West, has supported the show since its relaunch in 2016 and this year met with hundreds of guests at its stand in the showground.
During the event it challenged the public to help them find carefully hidden scarecrows around the show in its Where’s Worzel competition, which saw plenty of entries.
This year’s Holstein Cattle Class competition was also sponsored by the firm, which was won by D.J and V. M. Norman after their entry wowed the judges.
Speaking after the event, Gary Salter, a Partner at the firm’s local Yeovil office, said: “The Yeovil Show was fantastic this year and we were graced with lovely weather and some fantastic entertainment, stalls and refreshments.
“We had lots of visitors to our stand, many of whom took part in our tricky Where’s Worzel challenge, so we would like to thank everyone who came along to meet our team.”
Thousands of people attended this year’s event at Yeovil Showground, to enjoy the daring displays, live music, food, exhibitions and competitions that have made the show such a hit since its return last year.
“We are really proud of our association with the Yeovil Show and I am glad that our support of this year’s event has helped it to be so successful, even if we only played a small part in its success,” added Gary.
