South West-based accountancy firm, Milsted Langdon, has once again been recognised as one of the UK’s leading firms after being shortlisted at this year’s Accounting Excellence Awards.
The prestigious national awards, which celebrate the best and brightest in the accountancy sector, are a highlight of the industry calendar.
This year, Milsted Langdon has been named a finalist for both Tax Team of the Year and the Client Service Award in the medium and larger firm categories.
The firm’s tax team was recognised for its specialist work in areas like succession planning, forensic tax, international personal tax, VAT, and employee ownership trusts.
They’ve embraced new technology over the last 12 months, including advanced data tools and AI, to make their work smarter and more efficient.
Rob Chedzoy, Tax Partner at Milsted Langdon, said: “Our tax team is often the first point of contact for new clients. Their ability to tackle complex issues and explain things clearly helps us to build trust early on with clients, which often leads to wider work across the firm.”
Milsted Langdon’s commitment to its clients has also earned the firm a nomination for the Client Service Award.
The firm has focused on being accessible and proactive, introducing more ways to get in touch with the team, running regular events, and building personal connections with clients by celebrating their personal and professional achievements.
This approach has helped them achieve an impressive Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 9.5/10 for personal tax services.
“We’re proud to be shortlisted in two such prestigious categories. Our people work incredibly hard to deliver expert advice and genuinely care about building strong, lasting relationships with our clients. It’s great to see that recognised.
“We look forward to celebrating the evening with all of the other finalists who share our commitment to excellence in accountancy,” said Rob.
The winners will be announced at the official awards ceremony on 30 September 2025, held at the iconic Roundhouse in Camden, London.
