Mark Smith is Milsted Langdon’s Chief Technology Officer, responsible for shaping the firm’s technology strategy, cyber security, AI adoption and digital transformation initiatives.

With more than 20 years of experience in technology leadership, his expertise spans cyber security, Microsoft 365, cloud services, automation, artificial intelligence, governance and business transformation.

Mark has built a strong track record of delivering complex technology and business change programmes. He works closely with leadership teams to ensure technology supports the firm’s strategic objectives whilst maintaining a strong focus on security, governance and operational excellence.

Working across the business, Mark partners with teams throughout the firm to identify opportunities for innovation, improve business processes and help colleagues make the most of emerging technologies.

Having joined Milsted Langdon in 2016, Mark progressed from IT Manager to IT Director and was appointed Chief Technology Officer in 2022. Following a period with another firm, he returned to Milsted Langdon in 2026 to continue leading the firm’s technology strategy.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys fishing, keeping active in the gym, developing his golf game and looking after his 15 pigs.
