How do charities bookkeeping duties differ from businesses?

Matt supports a wide range of businesses with audit services, being involved with a variety of companies and groups with turnovers up to and above £50m as well as account for foreign-owned subsidaries. He works with clients across a range of sectors, including technology, haulage, healthcare and engineering.
During his career, Matt has also looked after the affairs of smaller companies, assisting with the preparation of financial statements and Corporation Tax returns for smaller non-audit companies. He has also been involved in bookkeeping, management accounts and cashflow forecasting, helping clients understand their financial data.
He joined Milsted Langdon as a trainee in 2016, achieving his ACA qualification and being admitted as a member of the ICAEW in 2020. During his time at Milsted Langdon he has progressed through the firm, becoming a Supervisor in 2020 and a Manager in 2021.
Matt enjoys building relationships with clients and understanding their needs and goals. He gets great satisfaction from knowing that he and his team have made a positive impact on clients’ businesses.
