Simon has been a Partner at Milsted Langdon since 2008 and the breadth and depth of his expertise covers many areas, from business recovery, restructuring and insolvency advice, to intervention and legacy services.

Simon originally trained as an insolvency practitioner and is licensed in the UK by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He has gained extensive experience dealing with all aspects of insolvency and business recovery.

Whilst he continues to deal with insolvency matters, having spent many years dealing with businesses facing financial challenges, he now uses the experience gained to help clients in a wide range of circumstances, assisting when decisions need to be made and then helping to ensure those decisions are implemented.

Assignments can range from working on strategic acquisitions alongside our Corporate Finance Team to advising a business that finds itself without any management due to illness or death.

He leads the firm’s dedicated intervention team, helping businesses that have stumbled upon difficult times – this may be a board or shareholder deadlock or dispute or a key officer being incapacitated and needing to be replaced on an interim basis.

Simon also works with some of our high-growth clients, providing advice on strategic development and how to manage growth sustainably, as well as looking at ways to improve existing successful enterprises that wish to adapt and change.
