Our standard Accounting Services engagement letter schedule covers bookkeeping and management accounts and has recently been updated to cover software training and support. It does not cover other digital services such as migration of data and app integration/implementation. These should be covered in the Ad hoc advisory services engagement letter schedule, the wording of which states “We will provide ad hoc advisory services as requested by you from time to time”.
The Cloud Based Accounting Services engagement letter schedule should be sent to clients where we hold and pay for the cloud accounting software licence for a client. This service schedule sets out the basis on which we will engage with the Cloud Supplier, how we recharge the client for software costs and the notice period for disengaging this service, in addition to security of passwords and login details both for us as a firm and the client.
