Martin Johnson’s promotion to Partner reflects firm’s commitment to career growth

Our dedication to nurturing talent and supporting career growth within the firm has been highlighted by the recent promotion of Martin Johnson to Partner, recognising his expertise and commitment.

Martin joined us in 2007 as an apprentice and quickly became an integral part of our team.

Over the years, he obtained his ACCA membership and recently became a member of the ICAEW, continuing to develop his skills and build strong, trusted relationships with clients across the South West and beyond.

Throughout his career with us, Martin has risen through the ranks by providing invaluable guidance and support across various sectors, with a particular focus on the agricultural and rural affairs sector.

His first-hand experience in this area allows him to offer practical, tailored advice to owner-managed businesses and partnerships, helping them navigate the challenges of an ever-evolving agricultural landscape.

Reflecting on his promotion, Martin said: “I am delighted to be promoted to Partner at Milsted Langdon. Having joined as an apprentice, my career has thrived here, and I’ve had the opportunity to develop excellent long-standing relationships with my clients. I look forward to continuing to work closely with them to support their growth and success.”

Martin is also a professional member of the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) and the Agricultural Law Association (ALA), demonstrating his commitment to supporting the rural community and its businesses.

Rachel Hotham, our People Partner, shared her thoughts on Martin’s promotion: “Martin’s promotion is well deserved, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the Partnership. The fact that he joined us straight from college and has achieved his goal of becoming a Partner is a fantastic success story and a testament to our focus on learning and development.

“Moreover, his specialist knowledge in the agricultural and rural affairs sector, combined with his hands-on approach, has been invaluable to our clients and our firm. We are confident that Martin will continue to play a key role in driving Milsted Langdon forward.”

We congratulate Martin on this well-deserved achievement and look forward to his continued success and contribution as a Partner at the firm.
