Milsted Langdon, one of the South West’s leading independent accountancy firms, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Lea as Tax Director.
Bringing over three decades of experience in corporate and international tax, Mike will join the firm’s existing tax team, enhancing services for a diverse range of clients from small owner-managed businesses to large multinational groups.
Mike joins Milsted Langdon with an impressive background that spans 38 years in the industry.
He began his career at one of the UK’s Big Four accountancy firms, where he progressed from an audit trainee to a corporate tax senior manager.
He has subsequently worked at a number of the region’s leading practices, moving from corporate tax director to managing partner.
With extensive expertise in corporate tax advisory and compliance, transaction tax, and restructuring work, Mike has worked with a wide array of sectors including media, music, IT, aerospace and defence, builders merchants, and the food and drink industries.
His vast experience and strategic insight will undoubtedly be invaluable in driving Milsted Langdon’s tax advisory services forward.

Mike is also a non-executive director of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) controlled company and has been actively involved in charity finance, demonstrating his dedication to governance and ethical financial management.
