Milsted Langdon help give Bristol Harbour a spring clean

The Restructuring and Insolvency team at one of Bristol’s leading accountancy firms, Milsted Langdon, have helped to clean up the city’s harbour as part of an ongoing charity campaign.

Despite overcast conditions, and the odd downpour, the team of six specialists took to the water as part of the Clean up Bristol Harbour monthly event.

Set up in partnership with the Harbour Office and Bristol Waste, this charity invites people from all walks of life to help spruce up the harbour and collect litter.

The team had a great time and were delighted to be able to do something beneficial for the city and give back to the local community.

Rachel Hotham, Restructuring and Insolvency Partner, who also oversees the firm’s HR function at Milsted Langdon, was part of the team that took part.

She said: “It was great for the team to do something for Bristol and its historic harbour. We were surprised with just how much litter we recovered and were happy to do our bit – despite the wet weather!

“As a firm, we feel we have a responsibility to ensure that we support the communities that we work within, and we are always on the lookout for small steps that can be taken to improve the environment near to our offices.”
