Last year Milsted Langdon was awarded the ESGmark – a prestigious accreditation recognising organisations that demonstrate a genuine commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles.

This independent certification marked a proud milestone in our journey to help our people and communities thrive while maintaining the highest standards of sustainability, fairness, and integrity in all we do.

Living Our ESG Values

ESG should not be a box-ticking exercise; it’s a long-term commitment embedded in our culture. We believe that doing the right thing for our people, clients, and communities strengthens the foundation of our firm and contributes to a fairer, more sustainable future.

Over the past year, we’ve continued to bring this belief to life through a wide range of initiatives, partnerships, and events across our offices and communities.

Supporting Our Communities

Our team has been actively involved in charitable and community activities that raise funds and awareness for causes close to our hearts. Highlights from the past year include:

  • Business Fives Corporate Charity Football Tournament – raising money for our client, Talking Money
  • Sponsorship of the South West Charity Conference and Expo, supporting collaboration in the regional charity sector
  • Bath Boules – raising money for local charities by bringing together the local business community for a great cause
  • Clarke Willmott’s Charity Rounders Tournament, Porter Dodson and Cooper Associates’ Charity Netball Tournament, and the Bath Rugby Foundation Halloween Quiz – all helping to raise essential funds for local organisations
  • Participation in community fundraisers such as the Brain of Bath Quiz, Moonraker Challenge, and National Christmas Jumper Day
  • Continued support as patrons of the Radio Bath Charity Awards, celebrating the people and organisations making a difference in our region, as well as sponsoring the TBE Awards ‘Going for Growth Award’ which champions local success stories
  • Sponsorship of Strength in Style event, championing wellbeing and community support initiatives.

Building a Healthier, Greener Future

Beyond our charitable involvement, we’re also committed to promoting wellbeing and environmental responsibility through our activities and partnerships.

Our teams have taken part in the Yeovil and Gloucester Half Marathons, Porter Dodson’s Hockey Tournament, the University of Bath Netball Tournament, and the Summerfield Boules Tournament, encouraging teamwork and active lifestyles.

Team members also got involved at the Belmont Estate, volunteering to help restore a green roof – a rewarding hands-on contribution to local biodiversity and environmental sustainability. Our partnership with Belmont Estate will see Milsted Langdon offsetting 80 tonnes of carbon.

Looking Ahead

One year on from achieving the ESGmark, we remain as committed as ever to strengthening our positive impact. We are proud of the progress we’ve made – but we also recognise that ESG is an ongoing journey.

In the year ahead, we will continue to explore new ways to reduce our environmental footprint, support our people’s wellbeing, and give back to the communities we serve.
