We were proud to sponsor the annual Taunton Round Table Speaker Evening again this year, continuing a long-standing tradition of supporting its charitable work across Somerset.

The Gala proved to be a highlight of the local social calendar, bringing the community together to raise money for another worthy cause.

This year’s event, held at Taunton School, was in support of Love Musgrove, which provides vital funding for Musgrove Park Hospital.

An estimated £19,000 was raised, contributing to the development of the hospital’s cancer treatment centre and the care it provides to patients and their families.

Guests enjoyed a three-course dinner before hearing from Nigel Owens MBE, one of Rugby Union’s most respected referees and the world record holder for the most matches officiated.

Nigel shared stories and lessons from his 23-year career on the pitch about teamwork, being yourself and handling pressure.

Our Partners in attendance to celebrate the evening included Ben Branson, Martin Johnson, Nigel Fry, Rob Cadwallader, Rob Chedzoy and Sarah Jenkins.

Rob Chedzoy commented: “We are delighted to have continued to support Round Table Speaker Evening for another year, and the fundraising which they undertake.

“Love Musgrove is a great cause and every bit of support they get helps the hospital continue the incredible work they do for patients and families. We’re happy to support them in any way we can.”
